Brute Cook'em

It's time to cook food and make pottery, and we're all out of clay.

In this Action cooking game, you manage a restaurant as both the cashier and the head chef. After you've taken the customers order, a burger and fries, you head into the kitchen and you spot your first target, a potato, perfect for fries. So you equip your katana, jump toward the potato, deflect its spud projectile right back in its face and slice it till' it looks like chips. Then scoop it up with your frying pan and check off fries from your checklist.

TIP: pick up the food you dont need to heal!

Controls

wasd to move

E to pickup and interact

Shift to dash

Weapons

swap weapon with scrollwheel or 1, 2, 3

Fists - punch with left click and throw grenades with right click

Katana - hold right click to go into free cut mode

Flamethrower - hold down left click to fry

Post mortem:

This game was made in a month for NGA 2024. None of the team had experience in Unreal beforehand, yet we've made a product we're really proud of. The event went very well and a lot of people had fun playing the game! Thanks for playing, everyone!
